This policy describes how Lyrics to Song AI handles personal information in connection with lyricstosongai.org. Contact support@lyricstosongai.org with privacy questions or requests.

Account and sign-in information

We process account information such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifiers. If you use Google or GitHub to sign in, we receive the profile and authentication information needed to provide that sign-in. For email-and-password accounts, we maintain authentication records. Session and security records may include your IP address, browser information, and authentication tokens.

Lyrics and generated content

Lyrics drafts can be stored in your browser so you can continue creating. When credits are insufficient, we save an additional draft in the current browser, linked to your account and tool, to resume generation after checkout. This backup is valid for two hours. Its content is cleared after successful generation; expired backups are removed when the recovery flow is visited again. Backups do not sync across browsers or devices. When you submit a generation request, we process the lyrics and selected creation settings, keep the associated task and result records, and send the content needed for generation to KIE, our generation service provider. Our infrastructure stores generated audio and associated records so that you can access your work. For AI lyrics generation, we also retain the submitted theme, keywords, selected settings and provider request body for troubleshooting. These private snapshots expire after 30 days and are removed by scheduled cleanup, or when your account is deleted. They are not sent to analytics services. For Mashup Maker, we process two uploaded recordings or temporary copies of your library audio and send the required audio and settings to KIE. Inputs are accessible to the provider through time-limited links and expire after 24 hours; scheduled cleanup removes the stored copies. Login recovery may keep selected files in this browser for up to one hour, with expired drafts cleared on the next visit. Generated mashup files follow the audio retention rules below. Account deletion revokes access and schedules stored audio for removal. Song Finder sends submitted audio through our server to the Shazam API Free provider on RapidAPI for recognition; we do not save those files in our audio storage or library. Minimal recognition results become eligible for cleanup after 24 hours, while request records support rate limits and duplicate-request protection. Sign-in recovery temporarily saves your selected file in this browser for one hour; it is removed on return or cleared after expiry on the next tool visit.

Why we process information

We use information to operate your account, generate and deliver results, record credit use and payments, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, respond to support and rights requests, and maintain the service. Optional analytics help us understand website use and improve usability.

Payments

If you make a purchase, the payment provider shown at checkout processes the payment information you provide. We keep order, payment-status, subscription, and credit records needed to deliver the purchase and handle billing inquiries. Payment-provider processing is also described in that provider's privacy information.

Support and feedback

When you email us or submit feedback, we process your contact details, message, and any material you choose to include to investigate and respond. Authorized support or administration staff can access relevant requests. Do not include passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, or unrelated private content.

Cookies and browser storage

We use a signed essential device cookie to prevent repeat signup grants across accounts. Its pseudonymous digest and claim date are retained after account deletion to prevent repeat claims. Clearing storage or using another browser can prevent device recognition. We also use cookies and browser storage to maintain sign-in, remember interface and cookie preferences, and continue drafts. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use additional analytics cookies if you allow them. Blocking essential storage can affect sign-in, drafts, and preference saving.

Website analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures website performance. Google Analytics loads on eligible public pages in advanced Consent Mode. Before a choice or after declining, analytics and advertising storage are denied, but cookieless visit and consent signals are still sent to Google. Analytics cookies are allowed only after consent. Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session replay run across the site, including sign-in, creation, library, account and checkout pages; administrator pages and URLs carrying tokens or similar parameters are excluded. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, or when we cannot determine your region, Clarity loads only after you accept. Elsewhere, before a choice or after declining, Clarity sets no cookies and treats each page view separately. After consent, it uses analytics cookies to connect visits. Recordings may include page content and text you enter, such as lyrics. Google signals and advertising personalization stay disabled. Advertising storage is denied unless you explicitly accept Google Ads purchase measurement. With this new consent, Google Ads uses advertising cookies and click identifiers and receives verified payment amounts, currency and pseudonymous transaction identifiers for credit-pack purchases and first subscription payments. Pending purchase references remain in this browser for up to 30 days. Earlier consent does not authorize this purpose. We do not send lyrics, email addresses, account IDs or card details to Google Ads. With analytics consent, we also record credit top-up views, pack selections, checkout departures, payment returns and generation resumptions in our own system for 90 days. Records contain only a random flow identifier, tool, pack, provider and outcome, without lyrics, account or order identifiers. Administrators also aggregate registrations, generation and credit usage from existing business records, independently of analytics cookies. With explicit consent, this site additionally records account-linked generation clicks, error categories, listening, download intent and purchase behavior, with internal candidate IDs where needed. These records support administrator aggregates, expire after 90 days and are removed with the account. They contain no lyrics, email addresses, IP addresses or raw errors and are not sent to third-party analytics.

Your analytics choices

Accept allows GA and Clarity analytics cookies. Decline keeps GA cookieless signals and, outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Clarity cookieless replay. Change or withdraw your choice in the footer; withdrawal clears accessible first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page. Google Analytics excludes private, authentication, payment and unknown pages and sensitive or unknown URL parameters, allowing only restricted campaign parameters and known anchors on public pages. Clarity excludes administrator pages and URLs with token-like parameters. Preferences are stored in this browser; blocking storage may prevent saving them.

Service providers and international processing

We use Cloudflare to operate the website and store data, SeeAPI to screen submitted generation text for supported safety categories, KIE to process generation requests, the Shazam API Free provider on RapidAPI to recognize submitted Song Finder audio, Google and GitHub for the sign-in options you select, Resend for account emails, Google and Microsoft for the optional analytics described above, and the payment provider identified at checkout for purchases. Text sent to SeeAPI is limited to the content needed for the safety check. These providers may process information outside your country. Their roles, locations, and applicable transfer arrangements are relevant to how information is handled.

How long information is kept

Audio storage is fixed when a task is accepted. An effective paid subscription, even when free credits are used, or any positive amount of purchased credits used for that task, including mixed free and paid funding, gives the audio long-term storage. Without an effective paid subscription, audio funded only by free credits is kept for 30 days from first delivery. Long-term files have no automatic expiry while the account exists, subject to user deletion and account closure. Cancellation, subscription expiry, plan changes, refunds and disputes do not shorten existing file retention. Audio expiry does not delete saved lyrics, creation history or financial records. Historical files keep their recorded dates. File storage does not change commercial-use or certificate rights and does not promise hosting after the service ends.

Access, correction, and deletion

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Send requests to support@lyricstosongai.org. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant data protection authority.

Account deletion or a data request does not mean that every file, backup, financial record, or provider-held copy disappears immediately. We review applicable retention obligations, security needs, and outstanding transactions, and explain any relevant limits when handling a request.

Security

We use access controls to restrict access to accounts and generated assets. Private storage does not mean that no service provider processes the content, and no online system can guarantee complete security.

Lyrics to Song AI is intended for people aged 18 or older. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information through the service, contact support@lyricstosongai.org so we can investigate.

Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or information handling. The current version and its effective date will be shown on this page; material changes will be communicated as required.
